Full-Time / Variable

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill / dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system.

Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Providence Mission, Vision and Values.

Required Qualifications :

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Upon hire : Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or
• Upon hire : Oregon Pharmacy Technician License

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
