Debt Collector

A company is looking for a Collector II.

Key Responsibilities

Contact responsible parties on loans to determine the cause of delinquency

Assist in developing repayment plans and cross-sell Credit Union products and services

Make recommendations to supervisors regarding necessary actions to protect the Credit Union's interests

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred

Knowledge of Debtor / Creditor Collection Law and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act

Experience in a call center environment is beneficial

Basic to intermediate knowledge of office and PC equipment, including automated collection software

Bilingual (Spanish) is desired
