Description

Job Summary : The Programmer / Analyst V will be responsible for supporting the Companys Virtual OneStop (VOS) software. The role involves working closely with team members in an Agile environment to deliver new development, maintain incidents, configuration, setup, respond to customer questions, data change requests, and other duties assigned by the Team Lead.

Viable candidates must be willing to work onsite at GSI's headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain web applications.
  • Design and build applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies.
  • Migrate applications to the latest Microsoft .NET Technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Perform testing to identify defects.
  • Follow design specifications and best practices.
  • Read specifications and design software solutions.
  • Mentor team members.
  • Create design specifications.
  • Interface with subject matter experts to gather requirements.
  • Conduct technical interviews.

Requirements

Work Experience / Knowledge :

  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Environment : MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, Visual Studio 2010 - 2017.
  • Experience migrating legacy applications to .NET platform.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms applications.
  • Experience using Team Foundation Server.
  • Experience with JavaScript and libraries like JQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache, AngularJS.
  • Experience with WCF / REST Services, Web API, Mobile development is a plus.
  • 10+ years of ASP.Net programming experience.

    • Work Demands :

  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and serve a high-expectation customer base.

    • Qualifications / Certifications :

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems is a plus.
  • MCSD / MCPD Certifications are a plus.

    • Required Technical Experience :

  • Team Foundation Server
  • JQuery
  • Bootstrap
  • .NET Framework
  • Agile methodologies

    • Preferred Technical Experience :

  • Web API
  • AngularJS or Angular 2
