About the Job FULL-TIME / TEMPORARY (POSSIBILITY FOR PERMANENT) Foxconn Industrial Internet (Fii), is a world leading professional design and manufacturing service provider of communication network equipment, cloud service equipment, precision tools and industrial robots.

FII provides customers with intelligent manufacturing services for new forms of electronic equipment products centered on the Industrial Internet platform.

As a Test Technician your main responsibility will be to make sure products meet quality standards and function properly.

In order to meet quality standards, you will monitor, assemble, improve and manipulate a product to ensure it is in no way defective.

You will utilize our equipment and test procedures while testing our products.

Collaboration with other Technicians and Engineers is needed to perform regular duties.   QUALIFICATIONS :

  • EDUCATION : A.A. / Certificate / B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 5 years of electronic testing, debugging, or tester setup.

LANGUAGE :

  • English proficiency required, Mandarin is a plus.   SKILLS :   Reading comprehension for schematics and assembly drawing Knowledge of volt ohmmeters, digital metes, oscilloscopes, logis analyzers, microcomputers, calipers, and assorted electronic and microcomputer controlled test equipment High attention to detail Excellent communication skills Critical thinking Operation monitoring Active learning Equipment maintenance   RESPONSIBILITIES :   Perform the most problematic tasks associated with the test and debug trouble analysis and / or repair of test fixture for all test station.
  • Assist Test Engineer in setting up test area and methods.
  • Work from and interpret basic schematics, logic drawings, test procedures, prints, sketches or verbal instructions.
  • Write and / or assist Test Engineers in writing new test procedures.
  • Recommend new methods or changes in test methods or equipment of efficient and economic tester of system, sub-assemblies or modules.
  • Prepare verbal or written reports of tests and work performed.
  • Train manufacturing operator or technician how to operate all of the testers on the manufacturing floor.
  • Maintain all the tester equipment on the manufacturing floor.

  • $24 / h - $29 / h  Status : Non-exempt Work schedule : - Swing shift : 3 : 15PM - 11 : 45PM - Graveyard : 11 : 30 PM - 6 : 30AM (next day) Foxconn Assembly, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
