Mechanical Designer

A company is looking for a Mechanical Designer to provide drafting and design support to the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare layouts of subassemblies and projects requiring precision in areas such as piping assemblies and sheet metal fabrication

Investigate change requests, prepare change orders, and propose redesigns to enhance performance or reduce costs

Check the work of others and apply knowledge of design procedures and manufacturing processes

Required Qualifications

Associates degree and 7+ years of mechanical design experience

3+ years of experience with Creo 3D design software

System level design experience or experience in the heavy equipment / manufacturing industry

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
