Telemetry Unit - Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

• 10 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

First-timers accepted: Yes – with 3+ years of experience

Weekends: Yes - at least every other

Is on-call req? No

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

BLS, ACLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
