A Manufacturing Engineer lll job is available with a manufacturing client in Kent, WA.. The individual will apply standard engineering methods to design, develop, and implement new or revised manufacturing & production processes for the efficient / economical production of aerospace products. A Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

and 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Applies standard engineering methods to design, develop, and implement new or revised manufacturing & production processes for the efficient / economical production of aerospace products.

Responsible for integration of design requirements into processes and procedures through research and development of manufacturing methods, tooling and equipment, facilities, and systems to produce a quality product.

Leads planning and development of engineering artifacts to enable the turning of raw materials into finished and discrete products that satisfy design / system requirements.

Provides guidance to design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

4+ years of relevant engineering experience

Aerospace industry preferred

Excellent written (whitepaper), presentation (PowerPoint summary), and verbal communication skills - and - comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

This job may require up to 10% travel, depending on business need.
