As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to the public, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail / mall property and its perimeter to observe for any irregularities and help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior observed during patrols or while on post.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and / or employees with directions and general inquiries to promote a welcoming environment.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related concerns and support the overall security program at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
