Full Time or Part Time | Hourly Position

Reports To : Restaurant Manager / General Manager

Job Summary : Responsible for greeting guests at the door, seats guests in appropriate area of restaurant / bar. Presents menus to guests in a friendly, professional and quick manner and informs guests of daily specials.

Principal Duties / Tasks :

• ✓ Greet all guests in a pleasant and timely manner.
• ✓ Ensure that work stations are stocked / filled before and after every shift.
• ✓ Advise supervisor of any member / guest complaints.
• ✓ Attend all meetings / training sessions requested by the supervisor.
• ✓ Keep all Food and Beverage areas clean at all times and assist with up-keep of all equipment.
• ✓ Serve food and beverage items that meet the standards, as outlined by the menus and health regulation.
• ✓ Maintain responsibility for all guest checks and turn them into your supervisor or designated area.
• ✓ Handle any problem that might arise both courteously and professionally.
• ✓ Set-up and break down tables, chairs, theme decorations and other equipment as requested.
• ✓ Operate within all guidelines, policies and standards.
• ✓ Ensure complete guest satisfaction from start to finish. Perform all duties necessary before and after breakfast / lunch / dinner service in accordance with Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort's policy's and standards.

Physical Skills : Squatting, bending, kneeling is required. Carrying weight that exceed 25 lbs. with one arm and many duties that require carrying weight of 50 lbs. scrubbing walls / floors, walking and standing for periods of 6 hours or more per shift.

Mental / Visual Skills :

Required Work Habits : Regular attendance, team work, initiative, dependability, promptness and trust worthiness

Required Work Experience : Not required but is recommended

Required Education : Thorough knowledge of food and Beverage service operational procedures as would normally be acquired through a high school education or equivalent.

Required Certifications / Licenses : Any certificate or special training such as, SERV-Safe, ABC certificate or any leadership courses is recommended but not required

Working Conditions : Work primarily indoors in a bar / lounge / restaurant environment. Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement hazards, sharp utensils, extremely hot stoves, grills and food items, and dangerous chemicals / solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.

Uniforms : business casual attire

Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort is a zero drug and alcohol tolerance facility. Interested parties will be required to pass drug and alcohol testing and verification of social security information.
