Centralized Scheduler Position

BJC is looking to hire a full time Centralized Scheduler to the team! Please note : A typing test is required and will be sent out if selected. Apply today!

Additional Preferred Requirements :

• Training will be on-site at BJC at the Commons 20 weeks 8-4 : 30
• Remote Hours : Monday - Friday 9Am-5 : 30 Pm.
• This Position will also have a Saturday Rotation every 16 weeks from 8 am-12PM.
• This Role will handle patient information and scheduling for outpatient radiology tests such as : MRI's, CT scans, Mammograms.
• Preferred experience : Customer Service experience, EPIC, Patient Registration, Call Center experience, Patient Scheduling.

Role Purpose :

The Centralized Scheduling Representative is often the first point of contact for our patients and therefore must represent BJC with the highest standard of customer service, compassion and perform all duties in a manner consistent with our mission, vision, values, and BJC service standards. The Centralized Scheduling Representative will facilitate all components of the patients' entrance into any BJC facility. This position will require a high level of emotional intelligence, professionalism and making a personal connection. The patient experiences vary broadly based on their medical needs and acuity. This position highly impacts the ability to maximize the level of reimbursements and prevention of denials by accurate collection of demographics and insurance information, benefit verification and point of service collection. Selecting the correct patient from the master person index (MPI) is critical to patient safety, as well as ensuring a high-level of accuracy when selecting the test to be scheduled. This team member must possess a friendly demeanor, exceptional attention to detail and maintain knowledge and competence with insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines as well as federal, state, and accreditation agencies.
