DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates bag filling machines and tote operation in accordance to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)Follows all GMP, food safety, safety policies, and proceduresOperates forklift and completes paperwork for the following : tote production, organic sugar production, occasional deliveries and shipmentsAssists maintenance personnel as neededSupports plant operations in the adherence to GMP’s and other required sanitation standardsOther duties as assignedEXPERIENCE
Prior experience operating a fork lift preferredPrior experience working in a manufacturing environment requiredPrior experience working in a FDA or SQF regulated environment preferredESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
PC skills requiredDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with peers and leadership requiredMust possess great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast paced industrial environmentDemonstrated ability to arrive to work on time and work overtime as neededMust be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. repetitively.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit; climb or balance; scoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear.Must be able to work under hot or cool, wet and sometimes-dusty, and loud conditions, dust mask, coveralls and, or hearing protection may be required.
