Experience with integrated ERP systems and their implementation. Bachelor's degree in accounting. 5+ years of public and / or agricultural accounting experience. 2+ years of costing experience.
We are partnering with a client in the Bakersfield area seeking a Cost Accounting Manger to join their team. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory valuation and costing functions. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $115,000 to $130,000 per year.
Job Description :
- Assume ownership of inventory valuation and costing functions.
- Enhance costing methodology to provide optimal decision-making insights.
- Collaborate with management to refine reporting and presentation of costing and inventory valuation data.
- Monitor and analyze final pool adjustments related to spray operations, equipment, and general labor pools during crop and calendar year-end processes.
- Develop, review, and maintain cost accounting and inventory processes, including management inventories.
- Assist the accounting team in devising and implementing best practices for accounting processes and controls.
