The Design Engineer will be a member of the Product Evolution Process, with a major focus on the design, development, and improvement of state-of-the-art power systems.

Responsibilities :
Knowledge of circuit theory in the power electronics industry with an emphasis on design for manufacturability and / or a minimum of three years graduate level course work in power electronics with an emphasis on dc / dc converter design is required to meet the following success factors :
Circuit design and analysisSchematic Capture - Mentorgraphics Power logicPCB Layout - Mentorgraphics PADsMicrocontroller code design - C, some AssemblyCircuit simulation and analysis - SPICE, Mathcad, PLECSPlanar magnetics designIdentify and evaluate power componentsParticipate in vendor selection process for new componentsWork closely with Manufacturing Engineers in order to transition products to productionCreate design documentation per SynQor processesEducation and Experience :
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering required. MS / PhD degree is a preferred.5+ years in power electronics design, orMinimum of 3 years graduate level course work in power electronics with an emphasis on power systems designRequired Skills :
