The Universal Banker I role is an entry level retail banking role responsible for conducting banking transactions and serving bank customers.  Establishes and updates retail services that meet the customer’s need, resolves complaints and offers appropriate resolutions. Opens basic deposit accounts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Processes teller counter transactions with a variety of complexity and helps to answer customer questions and service needs.
• Actively engages in the local community, including cross-selling and generating new lines of business with a focus on growing deposits.
• Recommends appropriate retail accounts and services by explaining unique features and benefits to the customer.
• Meet individual sales & customer service goals, which will actively contribute to overall branch goals.
• Informs customers of services offered by other business lines and connects customer to an appropriate banker, when appropriate.
• Uses bank technology and resources to keep customer information current and inform them of additional ways we can meet their needs.
• Overcomes customer concerns and resolves any complaints related to deposit account transactions.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range : $20-$23 The starting pay range for this position is commensurate with experience. The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
