Position Overview:

Tap Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to support the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team in Fremont, California. This full-time leadership position provides advanced clinical expertise, evidence-based guidance, and mentorship to elevate nursing practice and optimize patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in cardiovascular or critical care nursing, advanced clinical judgment, and a passion for mentoring and empowering clinical teams.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of three years of experience in the area of clinical specialty required.
• One to two years of experience in a leadership, education, or advanced practice role preferred.

Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license by date of hire.
• Clinical Nurse Specialist certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing by date of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) may be required if needed for Clinical Nurse Specialist designation prior to hire.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment and foster collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Clinical Nurse Specialist experience preferred.
• ACLS or PALS certification preferred.
