[job_card.job_description]Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in accounting & finance. Proficiency in modeling and valuation techniques. Understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), GAAP and accounting methods (accrual and cash basis method). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot table, v-look up, etc.). Experience with ERP systems (Jamis ERP preferred). Must be highly collaborative and communicative - someone that wants to be part of a team and not work in a SILO! Lead or assist in the annual budgeting process and create detailed financial forecasts (e.g., rolling forecasts) for revenue, expenses, profit and cash flow across different business units. Build and maintain complex financial models to project future performance and assess potential outcomes of various scenarios ("what-if" analysis). Evaluate the company's financial performance by comparing actual results against planned budgets and forecasts, investigating discrepancies, and providing detailed explanations and commentary to management. Lead project implementations, communicating and coordinating properly with all internal and external stakeholders. Prepare clear, concise management reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends for executives. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and increase productivity by streamlining existing processes and developing automated reporting / forecasting tools. Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to understand performance drivers and align financial plans. SOL Engineering Services LLC has an immediate need for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our fast growing, dynamic team. The Senior FP&A Analyst builds financial models, forecasts and budgets to guide business strategy while predicting future results and potential risks. This is an in-person position available in our Jackson, MS location.
