A luxury hospitality operation in Mauritius is seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Head of Restaurants to oversee multiple dining venues and elevate the overall service experience. This role demands a polished, floor‑focused leader with strong expertise in classical and refined European service. The ideal candidate enjoys being present in the operation, guiding teams in real‑time and bringing finesse, consistency, and structure to service delivery.
The position oversees six Restaurant Managers and requires a dynamic professional who thrives in guest‑facing environments. This is not an office‑based role. It is an operational leadership position suited for someone who excels in high‑end restaurant settings and delivers exceptional guest interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and supervise six Restaurant Managers across multiple dining outlets
- Maintain a strong daily presence in all venues, ensuring smooth and polished service operations
- Uphold and enhance classical European service standards with a high level of refinement
- Coach and develop service teams to exceed guest expectations consistently
- Ensure compliance with service procedures, grooming standards and hospitality protocols
- Collaborate closely with culinary and operations leadership to ensure seamless coordination
- Identify opportunities to elevate service, strengthen team performance and enhance guest satisfaction
- Support implementation of new service processes, training modules and performance improvements
Qualifications and Experience
