Job Title : Cloud-Native Security Engineer

Location : Salt Lake City, UT

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Cloud-Native Security Engineer based in Denver, CO, to design, implement, and maintain security solutions for cloud-native applications and infrastructure. You will collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to ensure secure deployment and operation within cloud environments.

Responsibilities :

Develop and enforce security best practices for cloud-native applications and microservices
Implement security controls in CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
Monitor and respond to security incidents in cloud environments
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud platforms
Collaborate to integrate security into DevOps processes (DevSecOps)
Manage identity and access controls using cloud-native tools
Automate security policies and compliance checks

Skills & Technologies :

Cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, GCP security services

Container security : Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift

Infrastructure as Code : Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates

CI / CD tools : Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions

Security tools : vulnerability scanners, SIEM, IDS / IPS, secret management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS)

Networking, encryption, IAM, zero-trust architecture
