Busy Integrative Medicine office in Annapolis in search of Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with good communication skills, well organized, ability to supervise others and loves helping people to assist our medial providers.

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education :

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience :

• EMR systems : 1 year (Preferred)
• Basic IV : 2 years (Preferred)

License / Certification :

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

This is a full time position with benefits

Requirements / Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Administering IVs and Nutrition booster shot injections.
• Work in lab; blood draws, processing samples, logging data
• Managing patient flow in the treatment area.
• Therapy application per Doctor's instructions and order (exercise, traction & home instruction)
• Take and records patient's vitals : temperature and blood pressure
• Assisting in x-ray procedures- developing and copying
• Checking, maintaining, ordering and restocking inventory of product and office supplies
• Assist patients in Weight Loss Program with exercise form and technique
• Maintain therapy area and treatment rooms
• Assist FNP and / or PA
• Gather patient history
• Candidate would be required to complete Chiropractic Assistant Program (paid by company) and become licensed as a Chiropractic Assistant.
