LEAD ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

Job Description & Skill Requirement : -

• Mechanical Engineer experience of Design and detail engineering of Static & Rotary equipment like Pressure vessel, S&T Heat exchanger, Columns, Storage tanks, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Compressors etc. in compliance with international codes and standards, project specifications, & general specifications prevalent in Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Chemicals & other associated industries. Strong working knowledge of design codes including ASME Sec. VIII- Div.1, TEMA etc.
• Leading execution of Process oil & gas projects for the above-mentioned technologies.
• Reviewing customer technical requirements and specifications and incorporating into project designs.
• Reviewing Technical specifications & Datasheet and conduct bid tab reviews & vendor document reviews.
• Lead the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting mechanical designs according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.
• Lead mechanical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
• Review vendor drawings and other documentation and regularly meet, correspond, and coordinate with equipment vendors.
• Interface and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to meet project design requirements and effectively manage the internal flow of data and design changes.
• Responsible for working directly with customers, interfacing with the commercial sales team, providing oversight and direction to others within the project team.
• Ability to travel to field for as built, collect site information and support field work activities.
• Prepare ad review Mechanical engineering discipline deliverables.
• Quality Review and Validation of final deliverables before submission to client.
• Review of piping isometrics to ensure they are constructible and comply with project specifications.
• Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
