The Sr. Full Stack Engineer is a technical leader responsible for the architecture and implementation of comprehensive software solutions across Pantomath’s Data Operations platform. This role demands deep expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies and includes mentoring junior engineers and owning critical systems or features. Ideal for engineers who thrive in high-impact roles and want to help shape product and technical direction.

As we scale, the ability to embrace modern developer tools — including AI-assisted coding, testing, and documentation — will be key to maintaining velocity and innovation. Candidates should be curious and proactive about using AI to augment their work and elevate team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications and services.
  • Lead engineering efforts on key features and infrastructure improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
  • Participate in and lead design reviews, code reviews, and planning sessions.
  • Champion best practices in software engineering and DevOps.
  • Identify and address system bottlenecks and scalability concerns.
  • Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to improve team productivity and software quality.
  • Contribute to the documentation of software designs, architecture, and processes.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, with demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience

    • Skills and Competencies

  • Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of backend frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS) and database design (SQL / NoSQL).
  • Experience with CI / CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and deliver complex projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching other engineers.
  • Willingness to explore and use AI tools (e.g., AI pair programming, test generation, LLM-driven automation) to improve development speed, quality, and team effectiveness.
