Job Title : Recruiting Manager – Medical Device Industry (Sales & Marketing Focus)

Position Overview
The Recruiting Manager will lead the full-cycle recruitment process for outside sales managers, senior marketing leaders, and related commercial roles within the medical device industry . This position plays a critical role in attracting, assessing, and hiring high-impact professionals who will drive revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic brand positioning across our product portfolio.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record recruiting within the medical device, life sciences, or healthcare technology sectors, with a strong understanding of sales leadership competencies, marketing strategy, and industry compliance requirements .
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Strategy
- Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies for outside sales management, senior marketing, and commercial leadership positions.
- Partner with hiring managers and executives to define role requirements, success profiles, and market-driven compensation expectations.
- Utilize a mix of direct sourcing, networking, referral generation, and digital outreach to attract top-tier talent.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
Candidate Management
Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate skills, leadership capabilities, and cultural fit.Manage the end-to-end hiring process—from initial outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding.Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects the company’s mission and values.Market Intelligence
Stay informed on market trends, competitor movements, and compensation benchmarks within the medical device sector.Advise hiring leaders on talent availability, market dynamics, and recruitment best practices.Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Sales, and Marketing leadership teams to ensure alignment on hiring priorities.Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity, etc.).Support employer branding initiatives tailored to the commercial side of the business.Other relate duties as requiredQualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries.Demonstrated success hiring outside sales managers, regional sales directors, senior marketing managers, or VP-level commercial leaders .Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of the medical device sales cycle, clinical marketing dynamics, and regulatory environment.Proficiency in modern recruitment tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM / ATS systems, Boolean search).Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Strategic mindset with data-driven decision-making and analytical reporting skills.High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.Preferred Attributes
Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented, or start-up medical device environments.Certified in talent acquisition or HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, AIRS).Familiarity with recruiting for technical and clinical support roles as part of cross-functional hiring.Compensation & Benefits
