The Billing / Data Entry Clerk is responsible for performing the pre-billing functions at the agency level and submitting to the management company for processing per the billing calendar. In addition, the Billing / Data Entry Specialist must assist in effective, precise and timely entry of all the patient information related to Clinical Services, OASIS documents, physician orders, and confirming all clinical documentation in software as it is submitted by the clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with a data entry certification preferred or more than one year of experience in billing.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Strong written / computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capable to set priorities and problem solving.
• Results oriented and driven to meet goals.
• Capable of promoting a team approach in the workplace.
• Maintains commitment and enthusiasm towards goal achievement.
• Capable to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under deadline pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
