Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding balances and payment options
Educate patients on insurance responsibilities and negotiate financial liabilities
Document accounts accurately in the EMR and establish payment plans within guidelines
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Passing score and certificate of required language from an approved vendor
Prior experience in collections, customer service, or call center is preferred
Knowledge of general medical billing and insurance is preferred
