What You’ll Do
- Prepare and assist patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment with precision and attention to radiation safety.
- Administer contrast and support physicians during procedures.
- Verify patient identity, review orders, and document all clinical data accurately.
- Maintain aseptic technique and ensure adherence to procedural time-out standards.
- Collaborate closely with your team to deliver efficient, compassionate care.
Invasive Cardiac Tech Qualifications:
- Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT-R) or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS).
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS as a Cardiovascular Specialist is required.
- CPR certification is required.
- ACLS certification is desired upon hire.
Successful completion of ACLS certification required within orientation period.
ARRT Certificate OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Echocardiograph and Ultrasound
