Web Applications Programmer

Minimum Requirements Education / Licensure / Skill / Expertise / Certifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other
• related field. Or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
• 3-5 years experience developing in JavaScript based application frameworks
• like or Electron
• Advanced experience with client side technologies such as JavaScript CSS MVVM / MVC frameworks such as React Angular and others
• Microsoft Azure technology experience preferred.
• TypeScript experience preferred.
• Experience with Git Version Control Systems.

Position General Summary :

Designs develops and maintains custom applications and 3rd party product integrations. Provides Tier 3 support for custom applications. Gathers and analyzes requirements. Programs all or selected components of custom applications. Documents components and applications. Has experience with a variety of more difficult tools and languages preferably . Provide weekly status reports to their supervisor in the Curriculum Development department.

Essential Position Functions :

Intermediate professional level role. Works on moderately complex to complex projects. Works on multiple projects as a team member and sometimes as a project leader. May coach more junior technical staff.

Develops and manages effective working relationships with other departments groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced.

Develops tests documents and implements high quality applications on time that perform according to specifications and requirements documents.

Analyzes performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies.

Develops and adheres to development standards that allow for the maintainability of code in a manner that supports team development.

Participates in the modification of software applications or architecture to resolve issues and plan for future growth.

Participates in code reviews and meetings as necessary.

Provide a minimum of weekly status report updates for current projects

Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines honoring schedules coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner and demonstrate respect for others.
