Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 teaching opportunity is available for a skilled educator specializing in working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. This contract position, located in Vacaville, CA, offers the chance to support diverse learners throughout the school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans tailored for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across K-12 grade levels
• Utilize appropriate munication methods, including sign language and assistive technology, to enhance student engagement and learning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, counselors, and general education teachers to support student success
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in pliance with educational standards and policies
