Overview
The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for all guests visiting the spa. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while handling reservations, check-ins/outs, product sales, and general inquiries. The Spa Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring a seamless and relaxing experience for all guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries regarding services, availability, and pricing.
- Book, confirm, modify, and cancel spa appointments using spa scheduling software.
- Check guests in and out of appointments efficiently and accurately.
- Process payments for services, packages, and retail products.
- Promote spa services, packages, and retail products to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception area, lounge, and retail displays.
- Communicate guest preferences, special requests, or concerns to service providers.
- Handle guest feedback or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of spa menu offerings, promotions, and product lines.
- Support back-of-house spa operations as needed (e.g., laundry, restocking, folding towels).
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a spa, salon, resort, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and POS systems; experience with spa software a plus.
- Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule including availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Compensation RangeThe compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $22.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
