Position Overview :

The Production Assembler is responsible for Assembly of product to bill of materials. Work involves ability to follow directions and work with limited supervision.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

• Receive work orders for the job and plan details of working procedure and tools.
• Perform quality checks for mistakes or faulty components in the assembly process.
• Assemble and program electrical panels.
• Put together wire harnesses to specifications
• Troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Read schematics and wire electrical to specifications.
• Supplies own tools.
• Assist with assembly and other production tasks, as needed.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and / or move items up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
