LEGARZA PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Full-Time | Youth Sports & Program Operations

Grow Your Career While Making an Impact in Youth Sports

Legarza is hiring a Program Coordinator for someone ready to grow beyond coaching alone. This role combines hands-on program delivery with office-based coordination and is designed as a pathway to leadership for the right person.

The Role

A hybrid position that includes :

  • Daytime PE instruction at local schools
  • After-school coaching (classes, leagues, camps)
  • Office / warehouse-based program support at our San Carlos office

During the summer, you’ll work across our camps with the goal of developing into a Site Director within 1–2 years , based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Programs & Coaching

  • Teach PE aligned with Legarza curriculum and CA state standards
  • Support SEL, PBIS, and positive behavior management
  • Coach basketball, all-sports, volleyball, soccer, cooking and STEAM-based camps
  • Deliver engaging, high-energy instruction

    • Coordination & Operations

  • Assist with inventory management
  • Help recruit and onboard coaches
  • Support schedule coordination
  • Assist with grassroots marketing and admin tasks

    • Who You Are

  • Organized, proactive, and dependable
  • Comfortable working with kids and in an office setting
  • Interested in leadership, operations, and long-term growth
  • Strong communicator with a positive, professional attitude

    • Youth coaching or program experience preferred, but not required.
