Collections Specialist

Location : Simi Valley, CA

Pay : $23-$25 / hr. Schedule : 8am-5pm M-F

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years high-volume AR experience
  • Knowledge of billing / collections practices
  • FDCPA / lien filing knowledge a plus
  • Construction industry knowledge a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • CRM systems experience a plus
  • Strong customer service commitment
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Responsibilities

  • Make collections calls and correspondence
  • Provide customer service for receivables
  • Negotiate beneficial outcomes
  • Monitor and maintain assigned accounts
  • Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts
  • Maintain records and submit reports
  • Coordinate with Sales on delinquencies
  • Communicate with Sales about accounts
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Perform other accounting support tasks
