Sr IT Business Analyst

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, Information Technology, the Senior Business Analyst with advanced expertise in many tools for process analysis and requirements development and documentation. You will analyze the most complex projects that typically involve multiple systems, new technologies, growth and risk, and multiple team members who may have competing and conflicting needs. You will be an important works across an entire program or portfolio, integrating across multiple business processes and client areas. You will be remote near West Chester, PA or St. Petersburg, FL.

What You Will Do

• Identify which tools/techniques are appropriate to lead the team through the process.

• Lead business analysis for the most complex projects.

• Can resolve conflicting/competing needs from different areas of the business.

• Provide recommendations to users on appropriate solutions.

• Present and facilitate client and senior/executive level management meetings.

• Lead redesign efforts that may span multiple areas of the organization.

• Lead post-implementation and transition to a business/technical sustained state (., warranty period support).

• Perform risk assessment and develop a contingency plan with possible alternatives and recommendations when unanticipated situations arise.

• Customizes presentations to the interests of the audience.

• Lead the business analysis phase of large projects, often providing direction to more junior team members.

• Develop business cases and presents to leadership.

• Recommend investments in new tools or the use of new processes/methodologies.

• Advise management on budgetary issues and negotiates a successful resolution.

• Contribute to strategic growth plans for the IT organization.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of relevant experience.

• You will identify new developments in business analysis tools and techniques.

• You will have understanding of a variety of development methods (., agile and waterfall) and their possible effects for a project.

• You will understand project management methodologies, tools and techniques.

• You will transform major business change projects into strategic level systems solutions.

• You will identify our performance measures to track the benefits of a project or service.

• You will maintain an understanding of business plans and strategies of competitors and of the industry in general.
