It Hardware Support Technician

Entry Mid-Level Position

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented IT Hardware Support Technician to join our team.

This role focuses on supporting end-users, maintaining workstations and peripherals, resolving hardware issues, and assisting with day-to-day IT operations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, takes ownership of tasks, and is interested in growing their technical skills.

Compensation :

$56,500 - $60,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and fundamental software issues
• Set up new user workstations and ensure proper connectivity
• Perform equipment moves, upgrades, and replacements
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and consumables
• Assist with basic network equipment troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, cabling, switches, etc.)
• Document work performed in the ticketing system
• Collaborate with the IT team and escalate issues when necessary

Qualifications :

1–3 years of IT support experience preferred

Working knowledge of Windows operating systems

Understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and component-level troubleshooting

Basic familiarity with networking concepts (TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS) is beneficial

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift, move, and set up equipment (up to 40 lbs) as needed
