As the Administrative Department Assistant, here is what you will do :
- Plan and organize work to ensure that Executive Director’s priorities and commitments are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld
- Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, including scheduling internal and external meetings. Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to Board of Directors
- Create and update internal policies and processes that support administration and coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflows
- Manage communication with employees on assigned projects and tasks
- Provide administrative and office support, such as document drafting and spreadsheet creation
- Support certain members of the Administrative Management Team with projects as assigned
- Assist in planning on-site events

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper managementStrong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projectsAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgmentProficient in multifunction word processing software including Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and related softwareAptitude for learning new software and systemsFlexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challengesContributes to administrative team effort by accomplishing related results as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal and employee relations skillsExceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesCreative and proactive approach to problem solvingDemonstrated ability to grasp and implement new concepts quicklyAbility to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environmentAbility to work independently and as a team
