2 / 26- Classroom Orientation
2 / 27 - Training
3 / 2- Class begins
The class is about 7 weeks long. Tentative end date is around the week of April 13th.

Sunnyside Retirement Community is actively seeking Nurse Aide Student(s) to participate in our paid CNA course. Contribute quality work to a historically exceptional senior living community. The selected candidate(s) will complete the paid course. Once C.N.A. licensure is achieved, graduates could be eligible for part-time or full-time opportunities.
It is important that those interested in the C.N.A. class are eager to provide compassionate person-centered care, collaborate with staff to assist residents with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, dining, moving, etc), once licensure is received. CNAs are a crucial component of our successful operation. They are essential team members who build genuine relationships with residents, making a difference in the lives of our residents, their loved ones, and the community. It is critical that the selected candidate(s) effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing with anyone they may come into contact with, including but not limited to : residents, their family, guests, co-workers, team leaders, and more.

Work Environment : This job operates in a residential-style nursing environment with normal lighting levels (except where lighting is reduced in resident rooms), comfortable temperature ranges, good air quality, ventilation, and low noise levels.
Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time. Additionally employees will routinely sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 60 lbs or less and occasionally more than 60 lbs. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Work Hazards : Contact with blood, body fluids. Minimal hazards, if required, Universal Precautions are followed.
