A stable manufacturer in the Valley is looking for a Controller to join their team.  In this role, the Controller will be responsible for standard costing, analyzing variances, looking at overhead and BOM, and evaluating labor.  To be successful in this Controller role, the candidate must have strong ERP experience, team-oriented, and have great communication skills to work with diverse groups of people.  Does that sound like you or someone you know?  If so, then please read the full Controller job description below to see if this could be a good fit for you!

What do you need for this Controller role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field

15+ years of cost and inventory accounting experience

Must have people management experience

Must have ERP software experience

Advanced Excel What will you do in this Controller role?

Oversee month-end close for multiple plant locations.

Production, implementation, and maintenance of standard cost systems.

Monitor cost variances and KPIs.

Provide financial guidance to support leadership decision-making and strategy.

Prepare Capital Expenditure Requests.

Create financial business cases for investments.

Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and internal controls.

Manage inventory valuation, physical counts, and reconciliations.

Fixed asset maintenance and management.

Oversee budgeting and forecasting.

Review volume, labor, overhead, and cost components.

Supervise and mentor staff.

Support financial modeling, product launches, and margin improvement.

Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and prepare detailed monthly financial and variance analysis reports. What is in this Controller role for you?
