Gensco currently has an amazing opportunity available to join our Technical Services Team serving in the Southern Oregon Region as an HVAC Technical Support Representative ! This position will be based out of Southern Oregon and will require some travel.
Starting pay range $95,000 - $120,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Summary
- The ideal candidate for this position will provide technical support and training for equipment sold by Gensco by offering guidance on installation, service, and repair to Customer’s technicians in the field and Gensco Team Members.
- This person will be proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately.
- Act as a liaison between the factory and Gensco customers and Team Members on technical matters about the equipment sold by Gensco
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical knowledge about the equipment sold by Gensco to customers and Team Members via phone, email, text, and field site visitProvide consultation to customers on the technical aspects of equipment installation, service, and repairAct as a liaison between the factory and Gensco customers and Team Members on technical matters about equipment sold by GenscoStrong attention to detail, excellent time management, strong people skills, and organizational skillsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other softwareSkills and Qualifications
2-year degree and / or equivalent work experience required5+ years of related work experience and excellent technical knowledge of HVAC industry preferredCustomer service-oriented approach, respond to requests with a sense of urgencyExcellent driving recordStrong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skillsStrong people skills, recognizes when to use formal or informal approachProactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriatelyAble to operate personal computer, proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other software.Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facilityAble to lift and carry equipment and supplies as necessaryAble to travel as requiredAbout Gensco
