Patient Types :   Pediatric and Adult Patients; Level III

Mandatory Skills :   IV skills, Trauma, Pediatrics, Stroke. STEMI, Chest tubes, Central lines, arterial lines, CVP monitoring, Cardiac

Required Certifications :   BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB, Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam

Minimum Experience :   2 yrs. 18 months if previous ED / EMS experience (ER Tech, EMT, Paramedic)

Consider 1st time traveler :   Yes

Receptionist Available :   Yes

Nursing Reading and Interpreting Strips :   Yes, and centralized monitoring

Nurse to Patient Ratio :   1 : 4

Tech to Patient Ratio :   1 : 8

Support Staff :   RT, Pharmacist, Stroke and Trauma coordinators

EMR :   Epic

Notes :   One of the busiest ERs in the state of Washington; 250-300 visits per day with high acuity

Night / Mids : (shift of 1500 / 1900) 3PM or 7PM Starts (Scheduled based on unit staffing needs)
