ABCI ., a local mid-sized heavy civil construction company has an immediate opening for a

full-time, experienced Excavator Operator.

An Excavator Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy construction equipment.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience in Heavy Equipment Operation
  • Safe operation of Excavator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights.
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures. Report

    • any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.

  • Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with

    • company policies.

  • Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor.

    • Clean equipment on a regular basis.

  • Perform job tasks in accordance with industry best practices and requirements of the equipment

    • (lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, carrying, sitting, walking, and climbing).

  • Effective Communication Skills (speech, vision, hearing / listening)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
  • Some OT may be required depending on weather & project status
  • Perform other duties as required, directed, or as the situation dictates
