Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our Nikkiso Fueling & Solutions functional unit in Escondido, CA. The ideal candidate will be assisting with mechanical calculations such as valve sizing, PSV sizing, pump / compressor sizing, pipe stress, flow modeling and mechanical design such as P&IDs, piping isometrics, pump skid design and trailer loading skid designs. The position will require some project management as well that includes interfacing with the customer, providing schedule updates, and submitting all required project documentation. Typical projects involve cryogenic transfer systems and high pressure (20,000) psig gas transfer systems.

Salary Range : $84,000 To $120,000 Per Year

• Provide mechanical engineering design of cryogenic and high pressure system.
• Ability to Key performance indicators include completing all contractual requirements on schedule, within budget.
• Ability to work in team environment
• Application of Engineering Design Codes, including but not limited to piping system design code and pressure vessel design codes.
• Responsible for component selection.
• Perform thermodynamic and pipe flow calculations.
