Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on projects that promote sustainability and energy conservation. You will help design clean, breathable spaces that support health and comfort while building your technical expertise by contributing to high-performance buildings. This role offers mentorship and support to pursue certifications like PE and LEED. You will join a team that values emotional intelligence and strong communication, develop your skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit, and gain hands-on experience through site visits and client interaction. Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate on projects to promote sustainability and energy conservation.
• Design spaces that ensure clean air and support health and comfort.
• Contribute to high-performance building projects.
• Develop technical expertise and pursue certifications like PE and LEED.
• Engage in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit.
• Participate in site visits and interact with clients.
• Manage small projects and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Visit construction sites with appropriate safety training.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romeoville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00 / hr.
