Tax Associate
Join Grant Thornton as a Tax Associate, where you will engage in dynamic tax consulting and return preparation, including tax research and planning. You will support a range of entities—corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profits—across various industries like real estate, consumer products, financial services, and healthcare.
Your responsibilities will include :
Reviewing data input and resolving complex tax issues, as well as supporting tax preparation done by colleagues in India.
Addressing inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
Researching various tax issues and providing valuable insights to senior staff.
Training and mentoring junior team members.
Undertaking additional projects as needed, showcasing your ability to adapt and learn.
Building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and team members.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Juris Doctorate, or Tax LLM.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 / 4.0 preferred.
Completed education hours to qualify for CPA or attorney licensing.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in technical skills and project management, with effective time management capabilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to flexible hours, including travel as required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
