Job Title : Water Aerobics Instructor (Evenings & Mondays) Jim & Heather Gills Branch YMCA

Description : The Jim & Heather Gills YMCA in St. Petersburg FL is seeking a dynamic Water Aerobics Instructor to lead engaging water exercise classes. This role focuses on instructing participants using proper form and technique to promote fitness in a fun and supportive environment.

Requirements :

  • Ability to work evenings & Mondays.
  • Current certification in aerobics and / or water aerobics or prior experience leading water aerobics classes.
  • CPR / AED / Oxygen Administration certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal listening and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds abilities and perspectives.
  • A natural ability to build rapport and inspire others.
  • Commitment to upholding the YMCAs core values.
  • Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug test.

Pay & Perks : $22-$25 per class based on experience. Free individual YMCA membership and discount for family.

Work Location : Jim & Heather Gills YMCA 3200 1st Ave S St. Petersburg FL 33712.

  • Level 2 background clearance and 10-panel drug test required.
