Multispecialty group – 150+ providers. Group has been in existence for over 100 years

Strong retention!! Some of our providers have been with the group for 20, 30 years.

Opportunity highlights :

Full time - 40% clinic / 60% OR-Procedures

Clinic day = 20 scheduled patients per day

Clinic has procedure room

2-3 days in OR or surgery center

Average 100-120 OR procedures per month

Typical GI procedures : EGD, PEG placement, colonoscopy, flex sig, ERCP

  • ERCP is desirable, but not required - we have low volume for ERCP

Call : 1 : 4 (essentially, 7 days per month)

  • Each physician will take one week of call at a time
  • Typical Weekend call - 0-3 consults / procedures per call day
  • Weekday call 24 hours, starts at 8 am

    • EMR system : Cerner

    Ideal candidate - BC / BE – Someone who is mid-career

  • Will be a great communicator, Patient centered, Team player
  • Patient population : lots of diversity - from migrant workers to college professors
  • Payer Mix : HMO, PPO, Fee for service
  • Patients admitted to Woodland Memorial Hospital (Dignity Health) – the group has a hospitalist
  • team who manages all inpatient care
  • Comp / Benefits
  • Employment with 2 year partnership track
  • Annual salary guarantee of $603,157 for 18 months, then productivity
  • Signing bonus $40k
  • Relocation assistance $20k

  • Time off policy : 6 weeks time off - first two years, then increases to 8 weeks
