  • Have the knowledge and ability to instruct students in educational areas to challenge and enrich student learning.
  • High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
  • Minimum of 19 years of age.
  • Education, training and / or experience in one or more of the following areas : child development, teaching, counseling, social work, sociology, psychology, recreation, programming for youth.
  • Create and instruct activities specific to the needs of students at the designated grade level(s) and in the designated content area(s) / subject(s).
  • Previous successful work experience with young children.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems as a productive team member.
  • Ability to use technology to communicate, to manage data, and to produce / submit required reports correspondence, and / or financial information.
  • Physical strength, mobility, dexterity, stamina, and acuity to perform job responsibilities.
  • Ability to be punctual and in attendance when scheduled.
