Research Scholar

Job Summary

Serves as a Research Scholar on a multi-scholar research initiative in the interdisciplinary translational research program that is seamlessly integrated with research training and mentoring in several areas of translational sciences with pre-clinical and clinical scientists. Reports directly to Dr. Devendra K. Agrawal Professor and Director Department of Translational Research. Will be trained and mentored while working with Dr. Agrawal in maintaining the research laboratories and in the conduct of the assigned research projects. May have lead responsibility for discrete research components of a larger project under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher.

Required Qualifications

M. D. or Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a discipline of health sciences with a minimum of 1-year research experience with a demonstrated record of research productivity. A Masters degree or equivalent in a health science field plus at least 4 years of relevant post-masters research experience will also be considered.
