Job Description

To work on all aspects of removals, collections, deliveries, and installations of personal effects, art, and antiques under the management of the immediate supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• High school diploma / GED required
• Three years of experience in the art handling industry, packing, handling, and installing on a local and interstate basis
• Three years of logistical, warehousing, and moving experience
• Understanding inventory processes and the ability to learn how to improve on handling art and antiquities from collection through to installation
• Excellent problem-solving skills, Familiarity with OSHA regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Impeccable communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to accurately execute detailed paperwork and condition reporting
• Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment
• Comfortable in a results-driven workplace
• Experience with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies, and other necessary logistics equipment
• Ability to safely lift 70 pounds and maneuver objects of substantial size and weight daily without damage to the object or person, including the ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead
