Job Summary : ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Execute duties in an efficient and safe manner
• Execute projects related to cost savings
• Calculate cost savings potential
• Execute projects related to plant capacity improvement
• Execute projects related to yield improvement
• Review and optimize burner and ventilation systems
• Work with in house R&D on new product development
• Direct testing at vendor locations
• Define equipment and process specifications for new products
• Define scope and process flow related to new products
• Input and review of engineering design plans
• Provide start up assistance to new processes or changes to processes
• Conduct annual Coloring Plant audits including improvement recommendations and reporting
• Provide support to plants on technical issues and / or questions
• Maintenance of Process Flow Diagrams
• Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions : Office, travel, and outdoors / indoors within a Process Plant and Mine environment

Physical Requirements : Computer, ability to make oral presentations, lifting objects up to 50 lbs.,

standing or sitting for extended periods, extended or irregular hours, bending, climbing, kneeling,

stooping, walking on uneven terrain. Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment and

work outdoors in temperature extremes.
