The Role We’re hiring a software engineer who can work directly with users to understand their needs and help translate those into product solutions.

This role is both technical and collaborative :

• you’ll meet with customers to learn about their workflows and challenges, then work with the internal team to build and implement features that address them.
• This position is a good fit for someone who wants to work on user-facing tools that solve specific, practical problems — and who’s comfortable switching between code and customer conversations Responsibilities  Talk directly with customers (planners, engineers, analysts) to understand how they use the product and where it falls short Translate customer feedback into technical requirements, wireframes, or implementation ideas Design, build, and maintain React Components and RESTful APIs which use spatial context to efficiently query and aggregate nationwide geospatial and temporal data.

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to scope and deliver new features Support the iteration and refinement of features based on user testing and feedback Participate in on-call rotation; investigate and resolve production problems as they arise.   Qualifications Requirements :

Experience working in or with cross-functional product teams Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow through on projects Experience gathering requirements from users or stakeholders and incorporating them into product development Nice to Have :
