REASON for OPENING : Team members have moved - backfilling for team members who have moved elsewhere

FOCUS : Project, focus in merchandising; automating some preliminary work and assortment ingestion into space planning tool.

DURATION : Initial duration to end of FY - 6 months; potential to extend; no opening to convert at this time.

Years of Exp : 5-7

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS : Highly prefer local, who could come onsite 4 days per week ; please source locally first - could consider remote workers if they can work 8-4 : 30 CST. PLEASE NOTE AT TOP OF RESUME WHERE CANDIDATE IS LOCATED and if they can come onsite.

RELATED EXPERIENCE : Being part of a team, troubleshooting, researching best methods, can work on their own

TOP TECHNICAL SKILLS : Debugging, Contractor should be experienced in Java front-end & back-end development. Experience in .net a plus.

BONUS : Experience Blue Yonder Space Planning / Category Management

Nice-to-Haves : Experience in rules engines or AI / machine learning - this could open more opportunities / flexibility for this worker.

INTERVIEW : Initial coding round - Java; 2nd round if passed, more behavioral
